Stroke is a common condition but can cause long-lasting disability.

Depending on the type and severity, patients will have problems moving their limbs, walking, sensation problem and pain conditions.

Physiotherapy is a proven method to improve the quality of life and functions after stroke .

• Stroke rehabilitation for sub-acute stage (after you discharge from hospital)

  • Motor training based on the functional approach / Brunnstrom Movement Therapy.

  • Gait re-education and prescribe appropriate walking aids.

  • Joint mobilization and soft tissue release to prevent shortening.

  • Shoulder rehabilitation progam for painful shoulder after stroke or shoulder-hand syndrome.

  • Chest physiotherapy.

• Stroke rehabilitation for chronic stage ( 12 months or above)

  • Education to family members about self-care.

  • Aerobic exercise and strength training to maintain fitness.
