Booking 

Do you take insurance case?

• We take insurance case, but you need to pay in-advance and claim the insurance company with the receipt.

• Depends on insurance company policy, you may need a doctor referral to visit physiotherapy in Hong Kong.

• We can issue receipt for claim and write insurance form if need.

• Please contact your insurance company for details.

I am a tourist, can I make an appointment?

• We provide service to tourist, no additional documents require.

• We also provide house-call visit to your hotel at 24 x 7 service, include sports massage & TECAR Therapy.

Can I book and pay for others, like my grand-mother? She don't want to spend money for healthcare.

• We can make special arrangement for elderly, no additional charge. We can keep it secret.

Can I book for my company as staff clinic?

• We provide house-call service to company, or talks for healthy lifestyle and ergonomics as HRM activity. Please feel free to get your quotation.

• For example, we can arrange a 4 hours session of mobile clinic in your meeting room, and a group of 6 staffs can have therapy. ( Around 40 minutes for each case.)

Consultation

What factors contribute to a speedy recovery?

1. If I told you to take a rest and stop, you need to stop.

2. Do the exercise I told you, but nothing more. Don't do stuff from YouTube or Facebook.

3. Sleep well, eat well, and believe you can overcome it. 

4. Maintain a positive attitude, especially for Hong Konger.

How many sessions do I need?

• We do not have the answer, it depends on the conditions, pain is complicated, it has a physical, psychological and social dimension.

• You can read the common time-frame for out-patient conditions based on information from the internet and educated guesses. (See below)

• We do not sell treatment packages. 

What is the frequency of visits?

• No absolute answer, it varies with conditions.

• For example, like ankle fracture, you can visit once every 2-3 weeks, to change the home exercise program. 

• But for acute pain, like acute wry neck with cervical disc problem, you may need 2-3 visits in the first week for pain management.

Will you supply pants or a T-shirt during the session?

• Sorry, due to the pandemic, we no longer supply pants or T-shirts during consultation. 

• For hygiene, we clean the treatment table with disinfectant wipe and pillow cover with paper.

What is the consultation procedure?

Consultation Procedure in WISE Physio

1. Make appointment by Messaging Apps. (WhatsApp, SMS) 

2. Arrive on time. Please don't come early, I don't have reception space after I moved to new office.

3. Stay and wait for consultation and treatment in the consultation room. (For first-time consultation, please present your proof of identity, referral letter and report if necessary)

4. Make the next consultation appointment and pay consultation at the end of therapy session.

Payment

Do you take credit cards or checks?

• We are CASH only.

• We accept Hong Kong Dollar (HKD), Chinese Yuan (RMB),United States Dollar (USD), EURO and Japanese Yen (JPY).

• We accept PayMe and Faster Payment System (FPS)(轉數快).

Can I order sports tape, bandage or therapy equipment?

• We can help order sports tape, braces or therapy equipment like TENS units or Muscle Stimulators. 

• Usually takes 7-10 days to process. 

• Warranty by the dealer.

• For urgent cases, you can get the rehabilitation supplies from nearby store.

Other issues

I can't speak Cantonese, Mandarin or English? Can I bring a translator?

• Of course you can, we used to have clients only speak Hindi, Urdu or Indonesian, they usually brought their daughter or son as translator. 

• But after we moved the office, we can only accommodate 2 persons at a time. (Used to be 4-6 persons)

Can I bring my maid or husband to learn how to do the stretching and exercise?

• Sure, we recommend you to do so, active participation from family and friends are a positive factor for healing.

Do you have on-site sports physiotherapy service for competiiton event?

• Sorry, we no longer provide sports physiotherapy services or first aid to any event after 2019.

Do you provide internship job?

• Sorry, we don't. 

Will you provide free service to NGO?

• No, sorry. 

Will you do a home modification for elderly? Like install a handrail or make the space for an electric wheel-chair pass through?
