TREATMENT SAFETY - Safety comes first

In general, the following condition needs special precaution for physiotherapy treatment, please notify our therapist during consultation:

• Pregnancy

• Maligancy

• Epilepsy

• Abnormal sensation or lost of sensation in any part of your body.

• Hyperalgesia - People with extreme sensitivity to pain.

• Vasovagal syncope - History of needle-related fainting.

• Active Implants - Active Implantable Medical Devices (AIMDs) like cardiac pacemakers, internal defibrillators, neurostimulators, and implanted infusion pumps.

• Metal Implants - Artificial Joint like hip or knee replacement, spinal fusion fixation device or intramedullary pin in fracture management.

• Active Epiphysis - Growth plate area of the long bone in children.

• Actively Bleeding Tissue - Example : Open wound or Recent surgical wound.

• Devitalised tissues - Example : Chronic Wound.
